How uplighting are your videos to me. It is so easy to get wrapped up in stuff and commitments and our feelings. How freeing is it to connect every thing back to the Lord to see what truly matters. Thank you for your words and your kind spirit and for taking time out of your busy life and schedule to make these videos. They truly help me. ♥️

Realistically how often do you wear scarves? I had a dozen, kept 4 and this year, I have only worn 1. I donated all my fantasy self clothes, recently and it feels so good. I actually have started losing weight since, which I haven't been able to do in a long time. Maybe it's not stressing about all the too small clothes that were in my closet?! Great job, Mary Beth!! .

I got a little chuckle from this video. Your videos are one reason I was able to donate my scarves. I hadn't worn them in years, so I let them go. I have not regretted it.

I have a pair of the Raycon Everyday Earbuds from a couple years ago. I would definitely recommend them. Mine don't have the noise cancellation and awareness modes that yours have (or if they do, I'm not aware. 🙂) I will say that Raycon stands behind their warranty. One of the buds from my first pair separated top and bottom within the first year. I contacted them, sent a picture and proof of purchase, and they sent me a new pair.

put a hook on the wall for those' not dirty can wear again' clothes. They aren't with the clean not worn yet stuff and easy to put on the hook, easy to see and easy to grab. win all around.

What is it that has many of us cleaning out our closets this week? I started on mine the other night (unplanned), before even watching anyone else do it 🤔. It's a really tough job for me! I can't get beyond all of the money I've spent on clothes, especially things I've bought on sale. It also makes me feel guilty. I'm 65 and I don't want my husband/kids to be burdened by all of it one day either, so the time is NOW! I also don't want to spend my time and energy managing the things I don't wear anymore. I always enjoy your videos. I have a suggestion that you could move the dresser closer to the window and that might make accessing the dresser and closet easier. You are also free to totally ignore this suggestion, like all random people who post comments on UA-cam videos.

Amen to struggling with letting things go. That is most definitely a good gauge as to where we are with regards to our belongings. And I do wear scarves. It's a timeless accessory that can dress up even a simple t-shirt and leggings. Challenge yourself to start wearing them.

For the worn clothes that are not hamper ready, I have a space at the front of the rod in my closet for those. When I go to pick an outfit, I see them first and can decide if the occasion is right for it. I agree with someone else that mentioned hooks, especially for the pjs. You have the wall space, why not give it a try?

I wear scarves!! Since I’m in TX I wear ones like you have in fall and spring but love them. I did recently go through and purge. I used to have a hanger like you do, but things got lost and I couldn’t see them all, plus they hung with clothes, so they really got lost. I got one of those clear over the door shoe things and rolled them up and put them in it. It also became my “container” so I had to pick the ones I really loved and they had to fit in it where I could see each one. I did it for my heavier scarves, gloves, and hats that I wear in the winter and it’s inside the door where my coats hang. Game changer for me on both fronts. But understand, I like to have variety and I wear hats to church (I’m 57, so I don’t consider myself old). I don’t know that I’m a fashionista, but… 😊

Only a few minutes in, get some hooks girl 😊 I love to hang pajamas or denim I’m going to wear again. Then I wear it the next day ( or the next) Don’t like to let the hook collect multiples. But one hook holds pajamas and/or robe The other hook holds something I will wear again the next day Edit- PS: awesome on progress and only progress 🎉

I do not understand why people have so much problem to let it go of clothes. it is very easy, only keep the clothes you are wearing "NOW" the rest let it go. Give it to someone that will enjoy it, One of the trick I learned is completely removed the clothes in your closet or part of it. Now here is the big deal, only put back the clothes you just wear and wash back in your closet. It works for me, I have been in the house decluttered maintenance stage for over ten years. All is well 🙌😀💟

Scarves can be pretty covers for dressers or small tables. Even uses them for window valences.

It is so hard to get rid of items that you like and that you hope you will be able to fit into again. I am trying to learn that if I haven't worn it in a certain amount of time it probably will not get worn.

I still wear scarfs, particularly in colder weather or in summer tied on my bag in case it's too cold in restaurant etc.

I still do wear scarves sometimes. However, I only tended towards wearing those universal scarves. I don’t really like the ones with free ends. So in my decluttering, that’s what I got rid of was the scarves that were free ended.

Thank you for this video. I have my quiet time in my lounge. I have a small box next to the couch with my Bible, pens, devotional books etc. and a coffee table for my tea, so I have everything I need within close reach. A few years ago, I started doing a quick reset of my home before bed. It really changed how I felt about coming into the lounge early in the morning to have my quiet time because I was no longer distracted by things that had been left lying around the night before. It was a small habit I developed that has really helped me feel peaceful and able to focus on my time with the Lord. Blessings from Australia. ❤

This was so good! My quiet space in my bedroom was getting loud. Too many books and things on my side table. I will begin there with decluttering to lessen my distractions. The silent to do things sitting next to me 😊

Hi MaryBeth, My house is pretty much clutter free. But I have a lot of overwhelming to dos going on. A disabled husband, I help my elderly mother-in-law, watch my grandson and do laundry, get groceries, pay bills, clean house, keep up yard work and cook. How did life become so on overload?? OK I feel better now I just needed to express. LOL 🌺🪴🌺🪴
